Collaborative Piano
Dr. Evelyn Lee is in demand as a collaborative pianist, performing with winners and finalists of competitions such as the Redlands Bowl Concerto Competition and the USC Woodwind Concerto Competition. She has appeared as a guest artist with violinist Artem Fominyx at The Wallis in Beverly Hills and was featured in a pre-concert conversation with Brian Lauritzen of KUSC. Additional appearances include the California Association of Professional Music TeachersConference Master Class, Young Professional Leadership Network concerts, and the YoungArts Foundation Concert at UCLA Royce Hall.
Dr. Lee regularly performs with the Riverside City College (RCC) Chamber Singers. She appeared at the American Choral Directors Association Western Region Conference in Pasadena (2024) and the National Conference in Dallas (2025). International engagements include the Bali International Choir Festival (2024), the Jeju International Choir Festival and Symposium (2023), and the Icheon Choir Festival and Symposium (2023). She also assisted in rehearsals and performances led by Avi Kaplan, Eric Whitacre, and Jake Runestad.
At the University of Southern California, Dr. Lee served as pianist for the University Chorus and Thornton Edge (new music ensemble), and for courses including Cantatas and Oratorios, Group Instrumental Conducting, and Applied Choral Conducting. She collaborated with the studios of Bing Wang, Glenn Dicterow, Nick Strimple, Elizabeth Hynes, and Rod Gilfry. She was awarded the Keyboard Studies Ensemble Award by the USC Thornton School of Music.
Dr. Lee previously served as Pianist and Organist at Culver City Presbyterian Church. She has also worked as a substitute pianist at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Long Beach, California, and as substitute choral director and pianist at Dignity Los Angeles.
